csUnchanDs3ConfigMdlTestSig is a read-write enable/disable switch controlling whether this DS3 port transmits the MDL Test Signal message, another C-bit maintenance message restricted to DS3 interfaces. This message announces that the port is running a loopback or test pattern, stopping downstream monitoring systems from flagging that legitimate test traffic as a service outage.
