What is csRsvpIfBadPathIn?
This read-only counter tallies the number of malformed or otherwise invalid RSVP Path messages received on this interface. A rising csRsvpIfBadPathIn count alerts an administrator to a misbehaving RSVP peer, a software bug, or possible packet corruption on the link, distinct from legitimate Path Error conditions. For example, a sudden burst of csRsvpIfBadPathIn increments after upgrading a neighboring router's firmware might indicate an RSVP interoperability regression introduced by that upgrade.
