What is csOspfAsBdrRtrCount?
This Gauge32 reports the total number of Autonomous System border routers currently reachable within this area, recalculated on each SPF pass and starting at zero. It tells an admin whether this area still has a path out to external routes, since losing all visible ASBRs would cut off external route learning for that area. An admin troubleshooting a sudden loss of internet reachability from a stub-like branch area would check whether this count has dropped to zero.
