Description: This time out value decides how long a TCP session can remain in SYN state without the session establishment process reaching completion, the session is deleted after the expiry of this period.
What is csOrionVrSpfTcpInitTimeout?
This read-write Integer32 (1-60 seconds) sets how long a TCP session can remain in the SYN state before the filter gives up and deletes it. An admin shortens this to free half-open session slots faster under high connection churn, or lengthens it for clients on very high-latency links that need more time to complete the handshake. For example, VPN clients connecting over a slow satellite uplink whose TCP handshakes keep timing out might need this value raised.
