This RowStatus object governs creation, modification, and deletion of an entry in the policy-based-forwarding filter table. An administrator building a new PBF rule creates a row, sets its ACL reference, next-hop, and action, then activates it via this object so the rule takes effect. For instance, after defining a filter's ACL ID and discard action, the engineer sets this object to 'active' to start enforcing that rule on the interface.
