Type: DisplayString

Access: read-write

Description: This object contains an ascii string which is used to identify backup Pes for the various elements of a Virtual Router. The format of the string is 'a/x, b/y, c/z', where 'a', 'b' and 'c' denote the blade numbers and are integers (1..26); 'x', 'y' and 'z' denote the processor engine (PE) ID and are integers (0..3). Specification of PE is optional.

What is csOrionVPNVRouterBackupPEs?

This string, in the same 'a/x, b/y' blade/PE format, identifies the backup processor engines designated to take over this Virtual Router's elements if the primary location fails. An admin configures it as part of a high-availability plan so a VR has a defined fallback location before any failover is triggered. For example, setting csOrionVPNVRouterBackupPEs to '6/1' designates PE 1 on blade 6 as the standby location for this VR.
