csOrionTemperatureEvent

Module: COSINE-ORION-MIB

OID (symbolic): COSINE-ORION-MIB::csOrionTemperatureEvent

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3085.3.1.13.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: accessible-for-notify

Description: A fan event. Note that the first four event types apply to analog temperature sensors (for example, those used to measure inlet and outlet air flow temperature), and the last two apply to digital temperature sensors (for example, those in the power supplies).

What is csOrionTemperatureEvent?

An enumerated code identifying which temperature-threshold condition, rising above or falling below upper critical or non-recoverable limits, triggered this notification, for either analog airflow sensors or digital power-supply sensors. It tells the admin whether a temperature alarm is from an inlet or outlet airflow sensor or a power supply's internal digital sensor, and how severe the crossing is. A trap carrying csOrionTemperatureEvent equal to tempRisingAboveUpperNonRecoverableThreshold(3) signals an admin that a power-supply digital sensor hit its most severe temperature limit, warranting immediate shutdown consideration.
