What is csOrionPptpConfAuthentication?
This read-write INTEGER selects the authentication method, none, PAP, CHAP-MD5, or an MS-CHAP server variant, the PPTP server on this Virtual Router uses to validate incoming client connections. An admin picks an MS-CHAP variant for Windows PPTP clients since that's what native Windows dial-up VPN clients support natively. For example, remote employees connecting with the built-in Windows VPN client would need this set to mschapv2Server to authenticate successfully.
