Description: The amount of time (in seconds) between retransmit attempts on this Logical Interface.
What is csOrionPppIfTimeout?
This read-write Integer32 (1-64 seconds) sets the interval between PPP retransmit attempts on this Logical Interface. An admin shortens this on low-latency links to speed up negotiation retries, or lengthens it on high-latency links to avoid retransmitting before a response could reasonably have arrived. For example, a PPP link over a long-haul satellite connection would need a longer timeout so the device doesn't retransmit before the previous request's response has had time to return.
