Description: A csOrionPacketRingStatusChange trap signifies that the packet ring status of the chassis has changed.

If both endpoints change from zero to r[1,26], that means the status has changed to protection ring. If both endpoints change from r[1,26] to zero, that means the status has changed to no protection ring. If one/both endpoints change from r[1,26] to different r[1,26], that means the topology has changed but not ring status.
