csOrionLnsConfigAdminStatus

Module: COSINE-ORION-MIB

OID (symbolic): COSINE-ORION-MIB::csOrionLnsConfigAdminStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3085.3.1.6.13.4.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Setting this object to 'disable' causes all tunnels to be immediately disconnected and no further tunnels to be either initiated or accepted. Setting this object to 'drain' will prevent any new tunnels and/or sessions to be either initiated or accepted but does NOT disconnect any active tunnels/sessions.

What is csOrionLnsConfigAdminStatus?

This read-write INTEGER (enable/disable/drain) controls the administrative state of this device's L2TP Network Server role: disable immediately disconnects all LNS tunnels and blocks new ones, while drain blocks new tunnels and sessions without kicking off existing ones. An operator uses drain during planned maintenance to let current subscribers finish gracefully before the LNS function is fully disabled. Setting this to drain(3) ahead of a software upgrade lets active VPN tunnels wind down naturally instead of being cut abruptly.
