csOrionL2tpTunnelStatus

Module: COSINE-ORION-MIB

OID (symbolic): COSINE-ORION-MIB::csOrionL2tpTunnelStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3085.3.1.6.13.2.1.16

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: RowStatus

Access: read-write

Description: The row status for this table. Used only for deleting this tunnel. IMPORTANT: (1) entries on this table are created when a tunnel is established by the peer. Therefore, creation of entry thru SNMP SET request is not allowed. (2) tunnel is usually torn down by the peer.

What is csOrionL2tpTunnelStatus?

This read-write RowStatus governs this tunnel table row but, per the description, is usable only to delete the entry: rows are created automatically when a peer establishes a tunnel, so SNMP SET cannot instantiate a new tunnel here, and tunnels are normally torn down by the peer itself rather than by this object. An admin would use it as an emergency manual override to force-remove a stuck or stale tunnel entry that the peer failed to clean up. For example, setting this to destroy(6) on a tunnel row left behind after a peer crashed clears the stale entry from the table.
