Description: This object defines the number of retransmission's which the tunnel will attempt before assuming that the peer is no longer responding.
What is csOrionL2tpTunnelMaxRetransmissions?
This read-only Integer32 gives the number of times this tunnel will retransmit an unacknowledged L2TP control packet before concluding the peer has stopped responding. It's a key input for how quickly a genuinely dead tunnel is declared down versus how much transient packet loss it can absorb. For example, a value of 5 means the control channel tolerates five lost-and-resent attempts to a flaky peer before the tunnel is torn down as unreachable.
