What is csOrionL2tpConfigSessionPacketSequencing?

This read-write enable/disable object determines whether session payload packets are requested to be sent with sequence numbers by the tunnel peer. An admin enables this when in-order delivery matters for the encapsulated traffic, such as certain legacy protocols sensitive to reordering, at the cost of a small amount of per-packet overhead. For example, enabling packet sequencing for a session carrying a protocol that misbehaves when packets arrive out of order ensures the peer numbers payload packets so reordering can be detected and corrected.
