Description: The amount of time, in seconds, that the server gives the remote end to reply to the sent request, before it will send the packet again. Fraction of a second must be specified in csOrionIKESvrParamRetryTimerMicroSec.

What is csOrionIKESvrParamRetryTimer?

This Integer32 is described as the amount of time in seconds the server waits for a reply before resending a request, with fractional seconds specified separately in the paired microseconds object. An admin shortens this to detect an unresponsive peer more quickly, or lengthens it for high-latency links where a slow reply shouldn't be mistaken for packet loss. For example, an admin negotiating over a high-latency satellite path might increase this retry timer so the server doesn't retransmit before a legitimate reply has had time to arrive.
