Description: This object controls the type of response the SMTP proxy makes back to the connected SMTP server when unauthorized mail relaying is detected.
What is csOrionFwSmtpPolicyRelayReply?
This INTEGER object chooses the response code this SMTP policy's proxy sends when an unauthorized relay attempt is detected, either ok(250) to silently acknowledge and drop, or unavail(550) to explicitly reject. An administrator picks unavail to make the block visible to the sending server for this policy's traffic, or ok to keep the rejection silent. For example, setting csOrionFwSmtpPolicyRelayReply to unavail(550) would send an explicit rejection to any server attempting unauthorized relay under this policy.
