An enumerated code reporting a BGP maximum-prefix-limit condition on a peering session, ranging from an early warning threshold reached up to actively discarding excess routes. It tells the admin exactly how severe a route-flood situation with a BGP neighbor has become. A trap with csOrionBgpMaxPfxLimitEvent equal to exceedsMaxPrefixLimitDiscardRoutes(4) tells the admin a BGP neighbor is now being denied additional routes because it blew past its configured prefix limit.
