What is csOc3AtmIntervalIdleCells?
csOc3AtmIntervalIdleCells is a read-only 64-bit counter of the number of ATM idle, or filler, cells seen on this OC3 port's ATM interface during one specific past 15-minute interval bucket. Because idle cells fill unused capacity, tracking this per historical bucket lets an admin reconstruct how ATM link utilization varied over the past day, bucket by bucket, rather than only seeing a single current snapshot. For example, an admin building a utilization report for the past 24 hours could pull each bucket's csOc3AtmIntervalIdleCells value and subtract it from the interval length to estimate real traffic load hour by hour.
