This read-create integer is used to override the Interior Gateway Protocol's administrative weight, or cost, of this link specifically for MPLS traffic-engineering path computation. It lets an administrator make a link appear more or less attractive to constraint-based path selection independent of its native IGP metric, without changing the underlying IGP routing itself. An operator wanting to discourage MPLS-TE tunnels from traversing an otherwise IGP-preferred but bandwidth-constrained link would raise csMplsInterfaceAdminWeight on that interface.
