Module: COSINE-ORION-MIB

OID (symbolic): COSINE-ORION-MIB::csIsisCircPtToPtCircID

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3085.3.1.4.2.9.2.1.1.34

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: CircuitID

Access: read-only

Description: The ID of the circuit allocated during initialization. If no value has been negotiated (either because the adjacency is to an End System, or because initialization has not yet successfully completed), this object has the value which would be proposed for this circuit (i.e. the concatenation of the local system ID and the one octet local Circuit ID for this circuit.

What is csIsisCircPtToPtCircID?

This read-only object reports the circuit ID negotiated during initialization for a point-to-point circuit, or the value this system would propose if no value has been negotiated yet, such as when the far end hasn't completed initialization or is an End System. Administrators reference this when confirming a point-to-point adjacency has properly negotiated a circuit ID during setup. For example, an engineer checks csIsisCircPtToPtCircID on a newly configured point-to-point circuit to confirm negotiation completed successfully rather than showing only the locally proposed value.
