Description: The version of IGMP which is running on this interface. This object can be used to configure a router capable of running either value. For IGMP to function correctly, all routers on a LAN must be configured to run the same version of IGMP on that LAN.
What is csIgmpInterfaceVersion?
This object configures which version of IGMP is running on the interface, and can be used to make the router capable of operating at a particular version to match its neighbors. Since all routers on a LAN must run the same IGMP version to function correctly, this setting matters directly for multicast interoperability. For example, if legacy hosts on a segment only support IGMPv2, an administrator would set this object to version 2 on that interface rather than leaving it at a newer default.
