Description: The activation of a row enables IGMP on the interface. The destruction of a row disables IGMP on the interface.
What is csIgmpInterfaceStatus?
This RowStatus object enables IGMP on the interface when the row is activated, and disables it when the row is destroyed. An administrator uses this to turn multicast group management on or off for a specific interface without needing to reconfigure all the interface's other IGMP parameters. For example, disabling this row on an interface no longer carrying multicast traffic would stop the router from sending IGMP queries there.
