Description: This is the number of status polling intervals over which the error threshold is counted. For example, if within 'MonitoredEvents' number of events the station receives 'ErrorThreshold' number of errors, the interface is marked as down.

What is csFrDlcmiMonitoredEvents?

csFrDlcmiMonitoredEvents is a read-write setting, from 1 to 10, specifying the window of status-polling events over which csFrDlcmiErrorThreshold's error count is tallied before the interface is marked down. Together with the error threshold, this defines the actual failure-detection rule, for example a given number of errors within a given number of polling events, so an admin needs to tune both values jointly rather than either one in isolation to get the desired sensitivity. For example, if csFrDlcmiMonitoredEvents is set to 4 and csFrDlcmiErrorThreshold is set to 3, the Frame Relay interface is marked down only if 3 of the last 4 status enquiries go unanswered, giving an admin a tunable balance between false alarms and slow fault detection.
