Description: Throughput is the average number of 'Frame Relay Information Field' bits transferred per second across a user network interface in one direction, measured over the measurement interval.

If the configured committed burst size and throughput are both non-zero, the measurement interval, T, is T=csFrCircuitCommittedBurst/csFrCircuitThroughput.

If the configured committed burst size and throughput are both zero, the measurement interval, T, is T=csFrCircuitExcessBurst/ifSpeed.

What is csFrCircuitThroughput?

This Integer32 (0 to 2147483647) is the average number of Frame Relay Information Field bits transferred per second across this virtual circuit in one direction, measured over the interval, and it is used together with csFrCircuitCommittedBurst to derive the measurement interval T. An admin sets this to the contracted committed information rate (CIR) for the circuit so that ingress rate-policing enforces the correct sustained rate. For example, an admin configuring a VC for a 1 Mbps CIR service would set csFrCircuitThroughput to 1000000, which combined with the committed burst value determines how policing windows are timed.
