What is csDs3ConfigMdlPort?
This read-write value is a string holding the port-number identifier transmitted as part of the DS3 interface's MDL Idle Signal message. It helps a remote technician correlate the idle-signal data they read back to a specific physical port on the customer's equipment. For example, an admin sets csDs3ConfigMdlPort to "Slot4/Port2" so that when idle, the interface's MDL data clearly tells a remote tester which exact port they're monitoring.
