What is csDs3ConfigCableLength?
This read-write value, from 0 to 450, specifies the DS3 cable length, applicable only when the interface is configured as DS3. Correctly setting the cable length lets the DS3 transceiver adjust its line build-out and equalization for reliable signal transmission over that distance. For example, an admin measures a 200-foot run to the DS3 patch panel and sets csDs3ConfigCableLength accordingly so the interface applies the right line build-out settings.
