What is csBgpGenLocalAS?
This object holds the local autonomous system number this virtual router uses for BGP, which is forced to 0 while BGP is disabled and cannot be set to 0 once BGP is enabled. Administrators must configure this correctly since a wrong AS number will cause eBGP sessions to fail or misidentify routing domain boundaries. For example, an engineer sets csBgpGenLocalAS to 65010 before bringing up a new BGP peering with an upstream provider, since a mismatched AS would cause the peer to reject the OPEN message.
