What is csAtmConnMBS?
This Integer32 (0 to 0x7fffffff) sets the Maximum Burst Size for this ATM connection, applicable to VBR service categories, defining how many cells can be sent back-to-back at the Peak Cell Rate before the Sustainable Cell Rate constraint kicks back in. An admin tunes this to allow a VBR circuit some tolerance for short traffic spikes without being immediately policed. For example, an admin supporting a bursty video application on a VBR VC would raise csAtmConnMBS to permit larger bursts of I-frames without triggering cell discard.
