Module: COSINE-ORION-MIB

OID (symbolic): COSINE-ORION-MIB::csAtmConnInArpManageStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3085.3.1.3.5.2.1.29

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: An instance of this object only exists when the local VCL end-point is also the VCC end-point, and AAL5 Encapsulation type supports LLC-SNAP format. This objects specifies the PVC InARP status and thus will be used to control services to l3, when AtmConnInArpManageVc is enabled. Also this object is meaning full when IP protocol is enabled on VC

What is csAtmConnInArpManageStatus?

This read-only enumerated value (up, down, none) exists only when the local VCL endpoint is also the VCC endpoint and AAL5 encapsulation supports LLC-SNAP format, reporting the PVC's InARP status used to control Layer 3 services when csAtmConnInArpManageVc is enabled, meaningful only while IP protocol is enabled on the VC. An admin checks this to see the actual InARP-derived health of the circuit's Layer 3 reachability. For example, if csAtmConnInArpManageStatus reads down while the PVC's plain operational status is up, the admin knows InARP is failing even though the physical circuit is fine.
