corePortSpeed

Module: CORE-MIB

OID (symbolic): CORE-MIB::corePortSpeed

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.629.1.50.9.3.1.12

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Actual speed in Mbps

What is corePortSpeed?

This read-only INTEGER reports the port's actual negotiated speed in Mbps. An admin uses it to confirm a port actually negotiated the expected link speed rather than falling back to a lower rate. For example, an admin sees corePortSpeed=100 when 1000 was expected and investigates a bad cable or SFP causing the port to negotiate down.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.629.1.50.9.3.1.12
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CORE-MIB::corePortSpeed

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.629.1.50.9.3.1.12.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CORE-MIB::corePortSpeed.1
