What is corePortRingStatus?

This read-only INTEGER classifies a port's role in ring topology as nonRing, internal, or external. An admin uses it to understand whether a given port sits inside the local ring or faces an external ring segment when diagnosing ring behavior. For example, an admin identifies corePortRingStatus=external(3) on a port that connects to a neighboring site's ring segment.
