Module: CORE-MIB

OID (symbolic): CORE-MIB::corePortOversize

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.629.1.50.9.3.1.22

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Counter

Access: read-only

Description: ???

What is corePortOversize?

This read-only Counter counts oversized frames received on a port. It flags a device sending frames larger than the configured MTU, possibly due to a jumbo-frame misconfiguration upstream. For example, an admin sees corePortOversize increasing after a server was set to send jumbo frames the switch port doesn't expect.
