corePortNumber
Module: CORE-MIB
OID (symbolic): CORE-MIB::corePortNumber
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.629.1.50.9.3.1.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: ???
What is corePortNumber?
This read-only INTEGER, whose description is unclear in the source MIB, identifies a specific port's number within a card, based on its object name, functioning as an index for other port-level objects. An admin uses it to know exactly which physical port a given stats or status entry refers to. For example, an admin matches corePortNumber=2 to the second port on a card while tracing a link-down alert.
