What is corePortCollision?
This read-only Counter counts collisions detected on a port. It signals contention typical of half-duplex or shared-media segments, or a duplex mismatch between the port and its peer. For example, an admin sees corePortCollision incrementing on a port configured for full duplex and suspects a duplex mismatch with the connected device.
