What is cmTrunkIfRecvPackets?
This read-only Counter tracks packets received on a particular Ethernet trunk port on an SCM. An admin uses it to confirm the far end of an inter-shelf trunk is actually sending traffic, which helps detect a one-way link failure. For example, cmTrunkIfRecvPackets staying at zero while cmTrunkIfSentPackets keeps rising indicates the trunk partner shelf isn't responding.
