Description: This value is used as an index into the table. The shelf.board portions of the PII value are used to specify a particular SCM who is the master of the primary or secondary side of the system.

What is cmTrunkConnectionTrunkMaster?

This read-only CmObjectPII value serves as the first table index, using its shelf.board portions to identify which SCM acts as trunk master for the primary or secondary side of the redundant system. An admin reads it to know which physical card is currently orchestrating inter-shelf trunking before consoling into that card. For example, seeing shelf 2 board 1 as the trunk master for the primary side tells the admin where to start troubleshooting a trunk-wide issue.
