cmServiceClassCweight

Module: COPPER-MOUNTAIN-NETWORKS-DSL-MIB

OID (symbolic): COPPER-MOUNTAIN-NETWORKS-DSL-MIB::cmServiceClassCweight

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1996.20.20.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The relative weight of the C Service Class.

The percentage of packets that will come from interfaces assigned to class C is:

( Cweight / (Aweight+Bweight+Cweight+Dweight) ) * 100

The system will limit the weights in that all values must be between 1 and 8 and:

Aweight >= Bweight >= Cweight >= Dweight

Default: 2

What is cmServiceClassCweight?

This read-write INTEGER (1..8), defaulting to 2, sets the relative scheduling weight for Service Class C, constrained to stay at or below Bweight. An admin uses it to size a lower-priority bandwidth share for general traffic below voice and business classes. For example, leaving cmServiceClassCweight at its default of 2 keeps general internet traffic behind voice and business data whenever the line is congested.
