cmServiceClassBweight

Module: COPPER-MOUNTAIN-NETWORKS-DSL-MIB

OID (symbolic): COPPER-MOUNTAIN-NETWORKS-DSL-MIB::cmServiceClassBweight

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1996.20.20.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The relative weight of the B Service Class.

The percentage of packets that will come from interfaces assigned to class B is:

( Bweight / (Aweight+Bweight+Cweight+Dweight) ) * 100

The system will limit the weights in that all values must be between 1 and 8 and:

Aweight >= Bweight >= Cweight >= Dweight

Default: 3

What is cmServiceClassBweight?

This read-write INTEGER (1..8), defaulting to 3, sets the relative scheduling weight for Service Class B, constrained by the system to stay at or below Aweight and at or above Cweight. An admin uses it to allocate a mid-tier bandwidth share to Class B traffic such as business data. For example, keeping cmServiceClassBweight at 3 ensures business data traffic gets less bandwidth share than voice in Class A but more than best-effort traffic in Class C.
