cmMaintCmdStatusText
Module: COPPER-MOUNTAIN-NETWORKS-DSL-MIB
OID (symbolic): COPPER-MOUNTAIN-NETWORKS-DSL-MIB::cmMaintCmdStatusText
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1996.20.16.1.1.15
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: DisplayString
Access: read-only
Description: The object contains a more detailed status that can be filled in by the system to provide more information to the operator. This status may be updated while a command is 'inProgress'.
For 'bulkCPEDownload', this object indicates the number of successful download, failed download, download in progress, and download still pending.
What is cmMaintCmdStatusText?
cmMaintCmdStatusText is a read-only display string, up to 128 characters, providing extra detail about a maintenance command's progress beyond the coded cmMaintCmdCommandStatus, and for bulkCPEDownload specifically it reports counts of successful, failed, in-progress, and still-pending CPE downloads. An administrator watches this text during a bulkCPEDownload rollout to track how many subscriber units have completed the update versus how many remain. For example, an operator midway through a mass CPE firmware push would read cmMaintCmdStatusText to see something like a count of completed versus pending downloads and decide whether to wait longer before reporting the rollout finished.
