What is cmLoopHistType?
cmLoopHistType is a read-only enumeration recording which kind of loopback test was performed for a given entry in the test history table. An administrator reviews this to know exactly what was tested when interpreting a historical result, since a scm-CR-Eth test verifies something different from a scm-WAN-RemoteLine test. For example, an operator revisiting an old ticket would check cmLoopHistType to understand which segment of the circuit that recorded test actually covered.
