What is cmHSSISync?
cmHSSISync is a read-only enumeration indicating whether HDLC flags are currently present (sync-on) or absent (sync-off) on the HSSI link's framing. An administrator checks this to distinguish a physical layer problem from a framing/protocol problem when a HSSI circuit isn't passing data. For example, if cmHSSISync reports sync-off while cmHSSIDCEReady and cmHSSIDTEReady both show ready, the operator would suspect a framing or clocking mismatch rather than a cable or hardware fault.
