A read-only counter of the number of CPE responses to training sequences observed on this port, whether or not those responses led to a successful train. Comparing this to the successful-train count helps an admin distinguish a CPE that's responding but failing to complete training from one that isn't responding to the line at all. If cmHDSLModemCpeResponses is nonzero but cmHDSLModemSuccessfulTrains stays at zero, the admin would suspect a CPE configuration mismatch rather than a dead or disconnected line.
