cmFileFSAddr is a read-write IP address identifying the remote file server the system will contact to load Copper Mountain Networks software files if a requested file isn't found locally. An administrator configures this to point at the organization's TFTP or FTP server used for firmware and configuration distribution. For example, setting cmFileFSAddr to the address of a central file server lets an operator centrally manage firmware images that multiple chassis pull from during upgrades.
