What is cmDSLIntervalRxValidOctets?
This read-only PerfTotalCount reports the count of octets (bytes) received in valid frames on the DSL port, scoped to one specific 15-minute bucket out of the 96 stored for that DSL port. Operationally, it's the byte-level counterpart to the valid-frame count and lets an admin estimate actual downstream data volume rather than just frame counts. For example, comparing received-octet counts bucket by bucket lets an admin see exactly which quarter-hour carried the heaviest downstream traffic.
