A read-only integer specifying the transmit gain currently applied on the CPE-side HDSL modem's line driver. Comparing this to the central-office side's transmit gain helps an admin diagnose asymmetric signal issues on a line that's failing to reach its expected data rate. If one direction of a line trains fine but the other struggles, the admin would compare cmCpeHDSLModemTxGain against the central unit's gain setting to look for an imbalance.
