This read-only Counter tracks the count of implied receive skips on the CPE's Ethernet interface on the CPE's Ethernet interface, tallied per hourly interval. Operationally, it tracks frames the receive logic had to bypass, which can indicate the receiver falling behind the incoming frame stream. For example, an admin correlating a jump in this counter with customer complaints of intermittent LAN slowness would look at whether the CPE is being overrun by traffic.
