This read-only Counter tracks the count of frames received with extra dribble bits, i.e. a few bits beyond a full octet at the end of the frame on the CPE's Ethernet interface, tallied per hourly interval. Operationally, dribble bits are usually a benign framing quirk from certain NICs rather than a sign of data loss, but a sudden increase can still indicate a marginal Ethernet connection. For example, a technician noticing dribble-bit counts alongside otherwise-clean statistics would treat it as a low-priority cosmetic finding rather than an active fault.
