What is cmCpeEthernetIndex?
A read-only integer giving the Ethernet port, or interface, number, equivalent to its ifIndex, for a CPE Ethernet interface. This index is how an admin correlates CPE-side Ethernet port entries in this table with the corresponding standard interface table entry when troubleshooting a customer's LAN-facing port. When a customer reports their Ethernet port on the CPE isn't working, the admin uses cmCpeEthernetIndex to find the matching interface table entry for further diagnosis.
