This read-only Counter reports the count of valid frames the CPE received during the hour, tracked hourly on the CPE side of the DSL link. Operationally, it's the CPE-side throughput confirmation, letting an admin verify the customer's equipment is actually receiving the traffic the head end believes it sent. For example, an admin comparing this CPE-side received-frame count to the head end's transmitted-frame count for the same hour can spot a mismatch indicating frame loss somewhere on the loop.
