cmBoardConfigChange is a read-only display string recording the calendar timestamp of the last configuration change made to a specific board. An administrator uses it to correlate a board's configuration history with other events, such as a service complaint, to determine whether a recent change on that card might be the cause. For example, if a customer reports a DSL outage starting at 2pm, the operator would check whether that line card's cmBoardConfigChange also shows a 2pm timestamp, pointing to a configuration edit as the trigger.
